Promoting Communication Strategies Tools for Advancing Language in Kids (PC TALK) is the product of a series of research projects documenting the use of naturalistic communication interventions by parents and early interventionists to promote the communication of infants and toddlers, conducted by a Language Intervention team at Juniper Gardens Children’s Project. Extending upon the early groundbreaking research of Drs. Betty Hart and Todd Risley (1992; 1995), we have collaborated with community partners on projects to increase the language learning opportunities that infants and toddlers have in their home and in child care.
